Privacy Policy

Visual.af ("Visual.af", "we", "us") is a free online creative tool for designing shaders and 3D visuals, operated by Visual Club. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using visual.af you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information (Google Sign-In). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use this to create and secure your account. We never receive your Google password.
• Authentication data. We store session records and set a session cookie so you stay logged in. This cookie is essential to the service and is not used for advertising.
• Payment information. Purchases (AI token packs, Supporter, and Premium) are processed by our payment provider, Creem, acting as Merchant of Record. Creem handles your card and billing details; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive transaction status and basic order metadata to deliver what you bought.
• Hall of Fame listing. If you buy Supporter or Premium, your display name and profile picture may be shown publicly in our Hall of Fame. You can choose to appear anonymously at checkout, or ask us to remove your listing at any time.
• Content you create. Designs, images, and videos you work on are processed in your browser. When you use the AI image features, the frame you choose is sent to third-party AI models to generate the result — for example, Google's Nano Banana or OpenAI's GPT Image 2.
• Technical data. Our hosting infrastructure automatically logs basic request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the service and your account.
• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To process payments and deliver AI tokens, Supporter, and Premium.
• To display your listing on the Hall of Fame (unless you choose to stay anonymous).
• To maintain, debug, and improve Visual.af.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Service providers

We share the minimum data necessary with a small number of third-party services that help us run Visual.af:

We also use hosting and database providers to operate the site and store your account. We do not use third-party advertising, we do not track you across other sites, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies that track you across other websites.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Payment records may be retained by Creem as required for tax and accounting. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 7).

6. International transfers

Visual.af is available worldwide and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and associated data, contact us at support@visual.af.

8. Children

Visual.af is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
